The package implements data\nsimulation under both the fixed-proportion 'typeP' and\nfixed-count 'typeM' rules and the simple-step-stress special\ncase, maximum likelihood estimation using a hybrid\n'Nelder-Mead' and 'BFGS' optimisation routine, asymptotic\n(Wald) and non-parametric/parametric bootstrap confidence\nintervals (including log-scale variants that guarantee a\npositive interval), a stage-1-observation planning probability,\nKolmogorov-Smirnov goodness-of-fit testing with a\nparametric-bootstrap correction for estimated parameters,\nlikelihood-ratio and information criteria for nested/non-nested\nmodel comparison, and diagnostic plots comparing fitted and\nempirical distributions, including the cumulative distribution\nfunction (CDF), survival function, probability-probability\n(P-P), and quantile-quantile (Q-Q) plots.",
